The library organizes training sessions for building students' information literacy skills. Sessions are open to students, lecturers and PhDs of the New Bulgarian University in a preferred time every weekday.

  • Participants will learn how to find bulgarian articles in:

    • Central and Eastern European Library (CEEOL),
    • Leisure and Tourism.

    • materials from the library digital collections,

  • Participants will learn how to:

    • find materials on their topic in the library,
    • use theses,
    • search in collections of e-books and e-magazines,
    • receive bibliographic reference list of literature in a field they are interested in ("Bibliographic Reference" Service),
    • use materials from other libraries through "Delivery of items" Service,
    • format a bibliography of works according to preferred bibliographic standard.

  • Participants will learn more about the library membership card, through which:

    • they can use the library, as well as the two computer centers,
    • borrow library items for home through Self-check workstation or Service Loan Desk,
    • use "My record" menu in The Library Catalogue,
    • access variety of electronic books and magazines outside the university campus network,
    • get 15.00 lv. membership card credit for free each term to pay for library services.
