‘Communicative language, however, is the only brain function that has in fact an endless efficiency and can communicate what happened, when, where, how and why. The words localize the objects in time and space but all other elements of the language transmit emotional and social attitudes, moral appreciations, moods both of the speaker and the participant in the narrated event. The development of language reveals psychological experiences of how personal features find their expression in order to be communicated and understood by the others. Language imposes high requirements to perception, movement coordination and cognitive processes and its unique characteristic is the manner, in which it involves and combines all these functions. So, to develop, it needs quite a long period of time – the period of childhood, which is very long for man.’
